Servo Slower
From Combat Robot
As used in combat robots, a Servo Slower is a circuit inserted between the radio receiver and a weapon ESC. The circuit gently 'ramps up' the signal to the ESC over a specific short time period to prevent a sudden high-amperage surge thru the system during weapon start-up. It is commonly used on a channel controlled by a switch that would otherwise throw the ESC immediately 'full on' when flipped and possibly overstress the battery or ESC when the weapon motor is bogged down near stall.
