IFI Robotics currently manufactures a line of compact and inexpensive single-channel electronic speed controllers specifically for robot use. The controllers are all lightweight (about 4 ounces) and are forced-air cooled by a muffin fan. Models include:

  • Victor 833 - a very popular reversable controller rated 60 amp continuous current at 12 to 30 volts.
  • Victor 885 - the replacement for the Thor 883 controller, rated 120 amps continuous at 16 to 30 volts.
  • Victor HV 36 - for higher voltages, rated 120 amps from 12 to 43 volts.
  • Victor HV 48 - even higher voltages, rated 90 amps for 12 to 60 volts.
  • Victor 833 SC - a spin controller for spinning weapons. Proportional unidirectional control (no reverse) rated 90 amps to 30 volts.
