Tend Towards Objectivity

The CRW is not your soapbox. If you have a strong, controvertial opinion about something, the page about that topic is not the place to make it known. If you would like to add acknowledgement of a dissenting opinion, it may be best to mention it on that page's "discussion" page first. Wording should be kept neutral and give facts leaving judgement up to the reader. Of course, the wiki should be more than a set of definitions and data; writing about experience is welcome. When describing personal experiences with a topic, it should be stated in general terms that reflect an accepted trend.

Use Intra-Wiki Links

To make the wiki truly useful, topics should be cross-referenced with intra-wiki links. Words that either have an existing page associated with them or should be elaborated upon in a separate page need to be surrounded with brackets such as [[this]]. For more editing help, see Help:Contents. In choosing page titles, the singular form of a word should be preferred unless the plural makes more sense. Only the first letter of the title should be capitalized, as capitalization beyond that creates unique pages - "Brushless motors" and "Brushless Motors" are not the same.

Keep the Wiki Global

The CRW is not just for builders in the United States. The U.S. is not to be refered to as "the country". Pages about events and sources for materials & parts should include references to suppliers from around the world.

Cleaning Up Pages is Helpful, Too

In order to build the knowledge database, it is acceptable to write an entry without proper formatting. However, it is equally benneficial to put effort into cleaning up pages with section headings and intra-wiki links. If you want to help out but don't have knowledge on a topic, putting time into making things look nice is appreciated.
