A popular brushless motor used among sub-lightweight builders, Originally made for R/C Airplanes, these "outrunner" motors generate more thrust than traditional "inrunner" brushless motors by having a rotating housing or "can". The very front part of the motor where the mounting holes and wires exit remains stationary while the rest of the can and shaft rotates.
